Dunstable Cadets Marathon Run
Two Cadets from 460 (Dunstable) Sqn, will be putting their
best foot forward on Sunday 13th April as they take part in the 2008 Flora
London Marathon.
Cdt Flt Sgt Dale Poole and Cdt Cpl Sean Madigan, both 18, will be running the 26
miles on behalf of the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) and hope to raise more
than £2000. The other Cadets from Dunstable Squadron have already raised over a
thousand pounds for the pair by packing customer’s bags at the ASDA store in
Dunstable before Easter and are also getting sponsorship from parents and
friends.
Dale and Sean are making it even harder for themselves as they will be running
in uniform trousers and boots, and Berets, but with T-Shirts showing the RAFA
Emblem, so if you are in London and see them on the route please give them a
cheer to keep them going.
