Cross Country Championships 2012 460 Dunstable Squadron has once again started the New Year with success. The cadets arrived at Bassingbourne Barracks for the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire wing cross country championships. The cadets knew that in order to win for a second year in a row it would require teamwork and a full team in each category. The cadets warmed up with high spirits and determination which to there delight paid off. Coming third in the senior girls was Sgt Shaw, Cpl Loczy, Cdt Pointon & Cdt Fitzgerald. Also coming third in the senior boys was Sgt Wright, Cpl Gambier & Cdt Muclune. The points kept on added up as more of the squadron contributed greatly to the event and eventually mid afternoon it was time for the finial results. 3rd Place Overall Boys 1st Place Overall Girls – With a Trophy Wing Cross Country Champions 2012 !!! – With a Trophy Cpl Loczy said “Everyone did brilliantly, we all put in our top effort and won because of it” Dunstable Squadron hope to continue the year with great efforts and even greater results. The next challenge is the Athletics championships in the next couple of months.
