Cadet Warrant Officer …. Joe Marr Joe started cadets when he was 13years old, and during his time in the corps he has gained many personal achievements including the well known JL course that the Air Cadets provide. The Vierdaagse marches in Nijmegen, Death March, Duke of Edinburgh, first aid, Corps Marksman, as well as becoming a well-respected member of the Air Training Corps. Joe is a dedicated member of the Dunstable team putting a lot of time into planning squadron activities, such as night exercises and training cadets for their various exams. During his time Joe has been on many camps abroad and in the UK including Summer Camps and a unique trip to Cyprus with colleagues from the squadron to watch the Red Arrows practise, as well as contributing to Wing Field Weekends, .Joe has had a significant impact on the Squadron throughout his time as a cadet; encouraging the cadets of Dunstable to the best they can be, and contributing to many aspects of the Squadron. Mr Marr will now take up the role of the squadron training officer within Dunstable Squadron. This role is very difficult as he is responsible for the training of every cadet in the unit, what happens on each parade night and there exams they will sit. |
