VIP Visit for Dunstable Air Cadets Dunstable Air Cadets were treated to a VIP visit from the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Cllr. Cynthia Gresham. 460 (Dunstable) Squadron Air Cadets, based in Victoria Street, Dunstable, were rewarded for their loyal support of many of Dunstable’s events when Cllr. Cynthia Gresham, the new High Sheriff of Bedfordshire and previously Mayor of Dunstable, paid a visit on Monday evening and spent over two hours chatting with cadets and staff about their current and past achievements. As a long time supporter of the Air Cadets, Cllr. Gresham congratulated the cadets on their parade and presentation and emphasised her enthusiasm for supporting future squadron events. Demonstrating the spirit of her eagerness to be involved in the cadet’s projects, Cllr. Gresham agreed to take part in the official launch of the squadron’s new hovercraft later this year, as soon as they have completed the build project at RAF Henlow.
