RAF HALTON WEEKEND - DECEMBER 2011 The first weekend in December took the cadets of 460 Dunstable Squadron and Dunstable Detachment of Army cadets to RAF Halton. The weekends activities included the Low ropes courses, Leadership exercises, an evening at the gym and some orienteering at Wendover Woods which is next door to RAF Halton. The cadets were accommodated within the Recruit Training Squadron within Royal Air Force Halton which is where the new Recruit start there RAF career. The Cadets where also provided 3 hot meals a day in the junior ranks mess which was very good considering the cold weather that December brought. Thanks go to Mr Spendelow for organising & planning the weekend, alot of hard work and effort has gone into making the weekend enjoyable for the cadets and staff.
