RAF HALTON TRAINING WEEKEND 6TH - 8TH MARCH 2009 Over the weekend of the 6th – 8th March 2009 cadets from 460 (Dunstable) squadron attended a training weekend at RAF Halton. The cadets left the squadron HQ on Friday evening and travelled to the RAF station. Cadets were given a briefing during Friday evening on the activities they would be doing over the weekend. During the weekend the cadets took part in a wide range of activities including Orienteering in Wendover woods, Leadership Exercises, the use of the low ropes course at RAF Halton, under the guidance of Royal Air Force recruit training staff and they also took the opportunity to practice their marching skills in the purpose-built indoor drill facility.
