SQUADRON SUMMER BALL 2009 For a reward to the cadets who have worked hard over the past year or even in the last couple of months for the new cadets of the squadron. The Summer ball was a way of saying thank you to the cadets for there efforts. All of the work in preparation was completed by our Civilian Committee who put in a lot of hard work even up to the last hour preparing the function room with balloons and placing for people to sit. Many thanks for all you hard work on this. For the cadets it was a way to unwind and relax. having a 3 course meal, Disco and a photographers were there to provide the cadets with a free photos of themselves all dressed up for the occasion. And of course it was time to say goodbye to two Cadets who have put a lot of hard work into the squadron over many years. They have either left because of age or joined the Armed Forces. FS Poole who joined the Royal Marines and CWO Matthews who left because of age. We wish them well and every success for the future. All official photos taken during the night are on the CO's Computer and will be available for any cadets who wish to have them. More photos will be going on here soon as they are on another another camera.
